Happy Monday and Mid-April my friends!
One of the main questions I get asked is what inspires me? The very short answer is everything lol but when you look at my collections you will see definite patterns which can be explained by the seasons!
Spring is a time of hope and inspiration. I’m not sure about you but coming out of winter there are a few things that I cannot wait for….the birds waking me up with their beautiful singing, the trees getting greener along with the grass, new flowers growing in the surrounding fields plus the gardens and let’s not forget the sun coming out for longer every day!
Can you relate? Dose nature brighten up your day too? The one thing I’ve been noticing is that when I’m indoors I do feel like I’ve lost that connection. So, my aim with the nature inspired jewellery is to keep you connected, help you feel the calmness that comes with being outdoors, may it be the birds singing or the flowers blooming or our surroundings getting greener and brighter.
Do you love to wear jewellery that gives you that connection? One of my favourite pieces to wear myself is my seafoam green sea glass which I collected from the local beach, set into a silver case which has a bird cut out of it. The sea glass is pale so you can see the bird clearly and it is frosted and super smooth which I find myself rubbing for calmness when I’m feeling stressed (it is like the ultimate comfort necklace for me).
