Happy Monday my friends, it is celebration time here at KL jewellery designs as I have new class dates added. Restrictions have eased enough to get back to teaching and I can’t wait to see your smiling faces again.
We will be starting back with beaded jewellery classes (Wednesday evenings) and silver clay classes (Sunday).
The beaded jewellery classes last for approximately two hours and all supplies are given on the day. It is two hours which flies by and the craic is great. This is a very relaxed class in which you learn how to make earrings and necklaces. These are the basic techniques which you need for beading jewellery and after taking this class you will be able to go home and continue making from the comfort of your own home. Once you have the beading bug it is hard to stop….but beware, once you start buying beads it can become an addiction (as my stash will prove) and they can over take your dining room table!
Silver clay classes are full day classes which start at 10am and last until approximately 4pm. In this class you are supplied with all tools and materials needed included 15g of silver clay (dry weight). No experience is needed, this is a very relaxed class in which we learn all the basic techniques which will allow you to go home and make silver clay jewellery from home. The craic is always good and everyone is friendly, it is so good to sit together, create and chat all things jewellery. I am also thinking of starting a silver clay taster class which will involve 7g (dry weight) of silver clay, so stay tuned for that.
In both classes I supply bottomless tea and coffee (comes hand in hand with creating), lots of jewellery chat and a very calm relaxing environment to create. I love that no matter which class I’m teaching everyone enjoys their time and is super proud of their creations which leaves me feeling a very proud teacher.
Due to COVID numbers are restricted. Hand sanitiser is provided, I will be wearing a face shield and the studio is cleaned down after every class, this is to ensure your safety.
